Clearly it’s the manager’s fault for not properly training his employees. I’m naturally very disappointed and they offered no solution.
And he is right this will never happen again because they wasted my time Friday, I could have gone somewhere else for my boyfriends’s gift had I known they were charging something outrageous and no way I will pay $329 plus installation for a screen. I can’t even express my frustration to the manager about this being a birthday present because he is still doing some long winded explanation about how he reprimanded the staff and how this will never happen again. Clearly, I’m not paying $329 to have the screen replaced when I can just go get a new phone for that amount. I asked him to repeat the number because I’m thinking $100 max. The point is the part was going to be $329 dollars, for the part.
I’m trying to follow along because he is giving these long winded explanations and not getting to the point. Today is Monday and the manager calls me, saying the staff took my order wrong, they don’t keep cards on file and they require a deposit to order the part. They asked me to bring the phone in so they knew what parts to order, which I did and I was told the parts would be in 24-72 hours. The staff took my credit card and verified it was legit by charging a dollar to it. Friday was my boyfriend’s birthday and I went into Peachtree Computers to see if I could pay ahead to have his cellphone screen repaired, so that he could come in whenever was convenient for him and have a new screen that wasn’t broken for his birthday gift.
